CD154, which is the CD40 ligand (CD40L) and is also known as gp39, a transmembrane glycoprotein. CD154 is expressed by activated T-cells, and serves an important function in T-APC cognate interaction through binding to CD40 on B cells, monocytes/macrophages and dendritic cells. This antibody inhibits the binding of gp39 to CD40 as well as B cell activation.
Applications:
Suitable for use in Functional Assays. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Hybridoma:
NS1 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice.
Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
