CD19 is a 95kD transmembrane glycoprotein with two Ig-like C2-set domains. CD19 regulates B cell development and activation through interactions with CD21, CD22, and the B cell receptor. CD19 polymorphisms and upregulation lead to the development of autoimmunity by promoting autoantibody production. Within the extracellular domain, human CD19 shares 57% aa sequence identity with mouse and rat CD19. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 25ug/ml; 10ul labels 1-2.5x10e5 cells in a total reaction volume < 200ul. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20 degrees C. Stable for 12 months at -20 degrees C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
