The CD1a (HI149) antibody recognizes a 49-kDa polypeptide associated with (B)2-microglobulin ((B)2m) e, Xenopus/Amphibian,pressed on cortical thymocytes (strongly), Langerhans cells, dendritic cells, some T cell leukemias and lymphomas. The antibody does not react with peripheral blood T and B lymphocytes,Mouse,onocytes, granulocytes,Porcinelatelets and erythrocytes. The CD1a antigen is involved in the presentation of lipid antigens.
