Human CD20 has four membrane-spanning domains and forms a homo-oligomeric calcium ion channel complex critical for normal B-cell function. CD20 is a B cell restricted antigen. Recognizes the CD20 molecule of 33/37kD. Inhibits B-lymphocyte differentation and induced Ig secretion. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 5x10e5 cultured Raji cells were washed and incubated 45 min on ice with 80ul of anti-CD20 at 10ug/ml. Cells were washed twice and incubated with Goat anti-mouse/FITC, after which they were washed three times, fixed and analyzed by FACS. Cells stained positive with a mean shift of 1.89 log10 fluorescent units when compared to a Mouse IgG2b negative control at a similar concentration. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
