The rat CD200 (OX2) receptor 1 is a heavily glycosylated 60-100kD cell surface molecule expressed by cells of the myeloid lineage but not by T or B lymphocytes. Shown to block the interaction of CD200 receptor 1 with CD200. Has been reported to work in western blotting applications.
Applications:
Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunohistochemistry (frozen), and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:
Flow Cytometry: 10ul labels 10e6 cells in 100ul
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile 40-50% glycerol, aliquot and store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
