CD273 is a 42kD member of the B7 family, otherwise known as B7-dendritic cell (B7-DC), or programmed death ligand-2 (PD-L2). The expression of CD273 is restricted to a subpopulation of dendritic cells (DCs), and DCs and macrophages that have been stimulated with interferon gamma, GM-CSF or IL-4. CD273 has been identified as a ligand for PD-1(CD279), along with another B7 family member B7-H1 (CD279). Studies suggest that both CD273 and B7-H1 co-stimulate or inhibit T cell proliferation and cytokine production. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunohistochemistry (frozen), and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 1:100-1:200; 10ul labels 10e6 cells in 100ul Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile 40-50% glycerol, aliquot and store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
