CD3E is a 20kD chain of the CD3/T-cell receptor (TCR) complex which is composed of two CD3E, one CD3y, one CD3delta, one CD3Z (CD247), and a T-cell receptor (a/B or y/delta) heterodimer. It is found on all mature T lymphocytes, NK-T cells, and some thymocytes. CD3, also known as T3, is a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily that plays a role in antigen recognition, signal transduction, and T cell activation. This antibody is able to induce T cell activation. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: (same/less than)0.25ug/10e5 cells in 100ul Immunohistochemistry: acetone-fixed, frozen Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
