CD30 seems to act as a cytokine ligand receptor. It is expressed on normal and neoplastic cells including multinucleated Reed-Sternberg cells, mononuclear Hodgkin cells, most anaplastic large cell lymphomas, and other lymphomas. This antibody will help detect CD30 expression in a variety of tissues. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry: 1:20-1:40 for 1 hr. at RT Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control: Large cell anaplastic lymphoma (membrane staining, some cytoplasmic staining in some cases) Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
