CD30, a single chain glycoprotein, is synthesized as a 90kD precursor, which is processed in the Golgi complex into a membrane-bound, phosphorylated mature 105/120kD glycoprotein. The CD30/Ki-1 antigen is expressed by mononuclear Hodgkin and multinucleated Reed-Sternberg cells in Hodgkin's disease, by the tumor cells of a majority of anaplastic large cell lymphomas, and by a varying proportion of activated T and B cells.
Applications:
Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:
Immunohistochemistry: 1:25 for 30min at RT
Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10 mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0, for 10 min followed by cooling at RT for 20 min.Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Positive Control:
Raji cells. Hodgkin
