In mice, CD301 is predominantly expressed on mature macrophages found associated with a wide range of connective tissues including macrophages in the dermis and the pancreas. Clone ER-MP23 also detects a population of dendritic cells in lymphoid tissue, which are probably recent immigrants from peripheral connective tissue sites. Expression of CD301 is induced by alternative (i.e. IL-4/IL-13 mediated) activation of macrophages and dendritic cells, but not all CD301 positive cells are necessarily IL-4/IL-13 stimulated. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: Neat-1:10; 10ul labels 10e6 cells in 100ul Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
