EMR2 is an Orphan-B GPCR with an unknown ligand. EMR2 has five EGF-like domains in the extracellular domain and is highly homologous to CD97. Multiple isoforms of EMR2 are produced by alternative splicing. EMR2 has been reported to be expressed in immune tissues, where it has been shown to be restricted specifically to monocytes and granulocytes. ESTs have been isolated from blood, colon, lymph node, placenta, spleen, testis, and uterus libraries. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, Immunohistochemistry and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: IF/ICC: 2-24ug/ml Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): 2-24ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control: Human Transfection-cells expressing vector only Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
