CD3e is a 20kD transmembrane protein, also known as CD3 or T3. It is a member of the Ig superfamily and primarily expressed on T cells, NK-T cells, and at different levels on thymocytes during T cell differentiation. CD3e forms a TCR complex by associating with the CD3d, g and z chains, as well as the TCR a/b or g/d chains. CD3 plays a critical role in TCR signal transduction, T cell activation, and antigen recognition by binding the peptide/MHC antigen complex.
Applications:
Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunohistochemistry, Immunofluorescence, Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:
Flow Cytometry: (same/less than)1ug/10e6 cells in 100ul volume
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
