CD4 (CD4 Antigen, CD4 Molecule, CD4 Receptor, CD4mut, T Cell Surface Antigen T4/Leu3, T Cell Antigen T4, T Cell Surface Glycoprotein CD4) (PE)

CD4, a single chain transmembrane glycoprotein, is found on a T cell subset (helper/inducer) representing 45% of peripheral blood lymphocytes. It is also present on 80% of thymocytes and at a lower level on monocytes. It is involved in recognition of antigen presented along with MHC class II by APCs. \n\nApplications:\nSuitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilutions:\nFlow Cytometry: Neat-1:5; 10ul labels 10e6 cells in 100ul\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nHybridoma:\nSpleen cells from immunized BALB/c mice were fused with cells of the mouse P3-NS1/1-Ag-4-1 myeloma cell line.\n\nRecommended Negative Control:\nI1904-84B2: IgG2a Negative Control, Murine (PE)\n\nStorage and Stability:\nLyophilized powder may be stored at 4 degrees C. Reconstitute by adding sterile ddH2O. Aliquot and store at 4 degrees C. DO NOT FREEZE! Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. Freezing R-Phycoerythrin (PE) conjugates will result in a substantial loss of activity. PE conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
