C2255-01V precipitates a molecule of approximately 50kD and is considered to be the bovine homologue of Human CD4. The phenotype, tissue distribution and function of T-cells expressing the bovine CD4 antigen are similar to those in other species. However, expression on macrophages has not yet been detected.
Applications:
Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:
Flow Cytometry: Use 10ul to label 10e6 cells in 100ul.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Recommended Negative Control:
I1904-83Y1 IgG2a Negative Control Murine (FITC)
Hybridoma:
NS1 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice.
Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. FITC conjugates are sensitive to light.
