Full length recombinant human T-Cell receptor sCD4 produced in the baculovirus expression system. The full length protein contains V1 through V2 domains of CD4 (MW approx: 23kD). \n\nBinds to murine monoclonal antibodies of defined epitope specificity in ELISA and Western ELISA. \n\nBiological Activity: \nThis protein binds to native and recombinant HIV-1 gp120 and HIV-2 gp105 and neutralizes HIV-1 infectivity in CD4-bearing, HIV-1 infected cell cultures and HIV infected PCMBs. \n\nApplications: \nSuitable for use in ELISA, Western ELISA, Neutralization, and Drug screening assays. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nELISA: 10-100ng \nWestern Blot: 10-100ng \nNeutralization: 1-10ug/ml \nDrug screening: 100-500ng of solid phase sCD4 and gp120 binding is determined in the presence of inhibitors either indirectly using murine anti-gp120-peroxidase conjugate or directly using HIV-1 rgp120-peroxidase conjugate.\n\nStorage and Stability:\nFor long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and freeze at -70 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months.
