The human CD40 cell surface antigen is a 48kD glycoprotein expressed by B lymphocytes and weakly by some monocytes. CD40 is involved in the process of B cell selection in germinal centres, and is vital in T cell-B cell interactions.
Applications:
Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunoprecipitation and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:
Flow Cytometry: 20ug/ml
Immunohistochemistry (Frozen, paraffin): 1-10ug/ml Requires protein digestion pre-treatment of paraffin embedded sections prior to staining (eg. pronosa or trypsin).
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
