CD40 is a member of the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) receptor superfamily and is the receptor for the CD40 ligand (CD40L). CD40 has at least 2 isoforms produced by alternate splicing. Isoform 1 is a single-pass type 1 membrane protein. Isoform 2 is a secreted protein.
Applications:
Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunoprecipitation and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:
Flow Cytometry: 20ug/ml
Immunohistochemistry (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 10ug/ml
Immunohistochemistry (frozen): 10ug/ml
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
