Human CD43 is a heavily O-glycosylated and sialylated transmembrane protein that is mainly found on T cells, but not on B cells. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Flow Cytometry and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry: Fixed cells or tissues. Flow Cytometry: 5x10e5 cultured human Jurkat-4G cells were incubated 45 min on ice with 80ul of anti-CD43/Biotin at a concentration of 10ug/ml. Cells were washed twice and incubated with Streptavidin/R- PE after which they were washed three times, fixed and analyzed by FACS. Cells stained positive with a mean shift of 2.11 log10 fluorescent units when compared to a Mouse IgG1/Biotin negative control at a similar concentration. Binding was blocked when cells were pre-incubated 10 min with 20ul of 0.5mg/ml anti-CD43 antibody. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
