CD43 is a 95-135kD type I transmembrane glycoprotein (mucin-type) which is involved in lymphocyte activation. Expressed by platelets and at high levels on the surface of all leukocytes. It is negative on resting B lymphocytes and erythrocytes. C2397-76P activates T lymphocytes and also induces apoptosis in hemopoietic progenitor cells.
Applications:
Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunoprecipitation, Western blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications have not been tested.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
