The monoclonal antibody LCA (CD45) is a useful marker to differentiate between lymphomas and carcinomas. Since this monoclonal gives a pronounced staining on formalin fixed paraffin embedded cells it is very useful in routine pathology. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry (Frozen, paraffin): 1:10-1:20 based on the Indirect method. Dilute before use with PBS or TRIS. Pretreatment is not required. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
