CD45 is a receptor-tyrosine phosphatase required for antigen-induced signaling in T-cells and B-cells; its substrates are unknown. Interestingly, it associates with several Src-family tyrosine kinases, which are inhibited by tyrosine phosphorylation in their c-termini, suggesting a mechanism for signaling by CD45. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry: 1:100 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control: Mouse colon tissue. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
