Human CD49f molecules are integrin a6 chains that are expressed as heterodimers with CD29 (b1 integrin) or CD104 (b4 integrin) and function as adhesion receptors. CD49f is expressed on platelets, monocytes, T lymphocytes and thymoctyes. The ligands for CD49f/CD29 include laminin and invasion. CD49f/CD29 has been shown to associate with CD63. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunohistochemistry and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry: Frozen sections Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
