CD5 (Lyt-1) is a cell surface glycoprotein expressed by T-lymphocytes. Studies suggest that CD5 plays an important role in the regulation of immune tolerance and lymphocyte selection. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: Neat; 10ul labels 10e6 cells in 100ul Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: Y3Ag1.2.3 myeloma cells with spleen cells from immunised DA Rats. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
