ICAM-1 is a single chain membrane glycoprotein expressed on the surface of a variety of nonhaematopoietic and haematopoietic cell types and has roles in signal transduction, cell signalling and lymphocyte adhesion. Soluble ICAM-1 is detectable in the plasma and is elevated in patients with various inflammatory conditions. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Dot Blot, Immunohistochemistry, Immunoassays, development of rapid tests and other antibody recognition assays. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
