E-selectin (Endothelial leukocyte adhesion molecule 1/ELAM1/ELAM) belongs to a family of divalent cation-dependent carbohydrate-binding glycoproteins or adhesion molecules. Eselectin is expressed on the surface of endothelial cells and mediates the interaction of leukocytes and platelets with endothelial cells during an inflammatory response.\n\nDescription: \nRecombinant Human E-Selectin is expressed in E. coli containing amino acids 179-557 fused to an amino terminal hexahistidine tag.\n\nApplications: \nRecombinant E-Selectin can be used directly as a positive control in Western blotting, ELISA, immunoprecipitation and other immunological experiments. The biological activity of this product has not yet been tested.\n\nStability: \nStore at 4 degrees C if entire vial will be used within 1-2 weeks. Store, frozen at -20 degrees C for longer periods of time. Please avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
