Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunohistochemistry (frozen and paraffin), and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested.SP2/0-Ag14 Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 1:50-1:100; 10ul labels 10e6 cells in 100ul Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): Requires protein digestion pre-treatment of paraffin sections e.g. trypsin or pronase Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: SP2/0-Ag14 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile 40-50% glycerol, aliquot and store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Additional info: Recognizes rat CD68 at ~110kD expressed predominantly on the lysosomal membrane of myeloid cells. Weak cell surface expression also occurs. Expressed by the majority of tissue macrophages and weakly by peripheral blood granulocytes.
