CD80 is a type I integral membrane protein, which is a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily. In mammals, CD80 functions as a costimulatory molecule of T-cells through ligation of CD28 and CD152. It is expressed by mature antigen-presenting cells, including activated B-cells, activated T-cells, macrophages and dendritic cells.
Applications
Suitable for use in Flow cytometry. Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended Dilution:
Flow Cytometry: 1:40. Use 10ul of the suggested working dilution to label 1x10e6 cells in 100ul.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Recommended Secondary Antibodies
I1904-06F: IgG, H&L (FITC) (X-Adsorbed) Pab Gt xMo
Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile glycerol (40-50%), aliquot and store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
