Human CD9 is strongly expressed on platelets, on early B cells and on activated T cells. CD9 is a member of the tetraspan family crossing the membrane four times. Both the N-terminal and C-terminal regions are on the cytoplasmic side of the plasma membrane. Recent studies indicate CD9 may be involved with calcium mobilization. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 0.5ug labels 10e6 cells Immunohistochemistry (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 10ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
