CD9 is a 24kD surface glycoprotein expressed by platelets, monocytes, some lymphocytes and endothelial cells. CD9 is a member of the tetraspan gene family. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunohistochemistry and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 1:100-1:200; 10ul labels 10e6 cells in 100ul Immunohistochemistry (Frozen): 1:500-1:1000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: Sp2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice. Recommended Negative Control: I1904-84Q3: IgG2b Murine Negative Control Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
