CDC7L1, CDC7 type protein kinase, regulates firing of the origins of initiation in DNA replication. CDC7L1 forms a complex with a Dbf4-related regulatory subunit to generate an active kinase. Mini-chromosome maintenance protein (MCM) is the major physiological target of Cdc7L1. At least three mRNA variants have been reported. Overexpression of the CDC7L1 protein may be associated with neoplastic transformation for some tumors. CDC7L1 has been documented in a wide range of tissues. One variant is expressed ubiquitously in Human tissues while at least one other has been shown to be testis-specific. ESTs have been isolated from several tissue libraries, including normal embryo, gallbladder, lymph node and thymus and cancerous duodenum and embryo. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): 6.5ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control: Human Testis Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
