In vertebrates, multiple cyclins have been identified, including a total of eight such regulatory proteins in mammals. In contrast to the situation in yeast, the CDC2 p34 kinase is not the only catalytic subunit identified in vertebrates that can interact with cyclins. CDC2 p34 is essential for the G2 to M transition in vertebrate cells. Several additional CDC2 p34-related cyclin dependent kinases have also been identified.
Applications:
Suitable for use in Immunoprecipitation, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:
Immunohistochemistry: 1:200 for 10min at RT
Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0, for 10min followed by cooling at RT for 20min.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Positive Control:
Breast carcinoma
