Cyclin-dependent kinases (cdk) are the catalytic subunits of the cyclin/cdk complexes, which phosphorylate substrates on threonine/serine residues. Cdk6 associates with the D-type cyclins and is important in the progression of cells from the G1-phase to the S-phase of the cell cycle. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunofluorescence:1:100-1:200 Immunohistochemistry:1:50-100 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
