CDX2 is an intestine-specific transcription factor expressed early in intestinal development and may function in the regulation of proliferation and differentia- tion of intestinal epithelial cells. CDX2 is found predominantly on the surface of villi and crypts. Differential expression has been reported in some intestinal cancers. This antibody will help detect CDX2 in normal and uncharacterized tissues. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry: 1:50-1:100 for1 hr. at RT Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control: Large bowel (nuclear staining pattern) Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20 degrees C. Stable for 12 months at -20 degrees C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
