Comparative Gene Identification-58 (CGI-58) is a causal gene of Dorfman-Chanarin syndrome, a neutral lipid storage disease characterized by the presence of intracellular lipid droplets in tissues. CGI-58 comes from a large family of proteins characterized by an a/b hydrolase fold that activates adipose triglyceride lipase thus, may involve in lipid metabolism.
Applications:
Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended Dilutions:
Western Blot: 0.5-4 ug/ml
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Control Peptide: C3399-01B1
Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
