In response to DNA damage and replication blocks, cells prevent cell cycle progression through the control of critical cell cycle regulators. Chk1 is an essential kinase for embryonic development and regulating mitotic progression in response to DNA damage. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunoprecipitation: 5-20ug/g lysate. Recognizes a band at ~48kD Western Blot: 1;1000-1:10,000 (ECL). Detects a b and of ~53kD on SDS-PAGE. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
