Cellular Localization: Cell Membrane and Cytoplasmic Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Additional info: Reacts specifically with the clathrin heavy chain (CHC17), and does not crossreact with the muscle isoform CHC22. It is reported to be non-reactive with native clathrin in immunocytochemistry, and immunoprecipitation (but some staining is seen in Rat1 cells, following 4% paraformaldehyde- 0.5% Triton X-100 fixation). Species Crossreactivity: Crossreacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and bovine. Not yet tested in other species.
