Clostridium tetani is a Gram-positive,Mouse,otile bacterium found in soil and animal feces. To, Xenopus/Amphibian,igenic strains of C. tetani contain a plasmid encoding the potent e, Xenopus/Amphibian,oto, Xenopus/Amphibian,in which causes tetanus (lockjaw).
