Reconstitute with sterile 40-50% glycerol, ddH2O. Aliquot and store at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Recognizes Collagen Type I. Some class speci?c anti-collagens may be speci?c for three-dimensional epitopes which may result in diminished reactivity with denatured collagen or formalin-?xed, paraf?n embedded tissues. Recognizes most mammalian Type I collagens and has negligible crossreactivity with Type II, III, IV, V and VI collagens detected by ELISA against puri?ed standards.. Non-speci?c crossreaction of anti-collagen antibodies with other human serum proteins or non-collagen extracellular matrix proteins is negligible.
