Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Immunofluorescence, and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:100-1:500 Western Blot: 1:1000-1:2000 Immunofluorescence: Neat-1:5 Suitable for use on fresh, frozen or acetone fixed material. Mild pepsin digestion is recommended to enhance staining. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Additional info: Recognizes human collagen type II, the main collagen in cartilaginous tissue. This antibody reacts with both pepsin solubilised and CNBr-cleaved human and bovine collagen type II. No crossreactivity is seen with types I, III, V or IX., Species Crossreactivity: rat, bovine, sheep, mouse, canine, porcine.
