Cornulin (Tumor Related Protein, C1orf10 Gene Product, Chromosome 1 Open Reading Frame 10 Gene Product)

Cornulin is a survival factor that participates in the clonogenicity of squamous esophageal epithelium cell lines. It attenuates deoxycholic acid (DCA)-induced apoptotic cell death and the release of calcium. In overexpressed oral squamous carcinoma cell lines, cornulin negatively regulates cell proliferation by the induction of G1 arrest.\n\nApplications:\nSuitable for use in Immunohistochemistry, Western Blot\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by researcher.\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
