Corticotropin-releasing factor receptor 1 (CRFR1/CRHR1), a Corticotropin-Releasing Factor Receptor, is involved in mediating the stress response and anxiety-related behaviors. Mutations of the receptor reduce anxiety-related behaviors and may be involved in the pathogenesis of Cushing disease. Multiple isoforms of CRFR1 are produced by alternative splicing. CRFR1 has been reported to be expressed in the pituitary, adrenal gland, brain, colon, ovary, placenta, testis, white blood cells, and skin. ESTs have been isolated from Human brain, eye, colon, and embryo libraries. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): 21ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
