Applications:
Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:
Western Blot: 1:1,000 to 1:4,000 Detects phospho-CREB (Ser133) in RIPA lysates from forskolin treated rat PC-12 and mouse 3T3/A31 cells. Lysates from untreated (Lanes 1 and 3) and forskolin treated (Lanes 2 and 4) PC-12 cells were resolved by electrophoresis, transferred to nitrocellulose and probed with anti-phospho-CREB (Ser133) (1:4,000 dilution, Lanes 1 and 2) or anti-CREB (1:2,000 dilution, Lanes 3 and 4). Proteins were visualized using a goat antimouse (Lanes 1and 2) or goat antirabbit (Lanes 3 and 4) secondary antibody conjugated to HRP and a chemiluminescence detection system.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
