Cripto-1 (Epidermal Growth Factor-Like Cripto Protein CR1, TDGF-1, Teratocarcinoma-Derived Growth Factor 1, CFC-2) (Biotin)

Cripto-1 is a member of the EGF-CFC family. It exists both as a secreted and as a GPI-anchored membrane protein. Cripto functions as a cofactor that modulates the activities of TGF-Beta family members.\n\nApplications: \nSuitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilutions:\nELISA (Detection): Can be used as a detection antibody in a human Cripto-1 sandwich immunoassay in combination with C7822-10C as the capture antibody.\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nHybridoma:\nFusion of a mouse myeloma with B cells obtained from a mouse immunized with purified, E. coli derived recombinant human Cripto-1 (aa38-188).\n\nStorage and Stability:\nLyophilized powder may be stored at -20 degrees C. Stable for 12 months at -20 degrees C. Reconstitute with sterile TBS, pH 7.3 (20mM Trizma base, 150mM sodium chloride), 0.1% BSA. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
