Cripto-1 (Epidermal Growth Factor-Like Cripto Protein CR1, TDGF-1, Teratocarcinoma-Derived Growth Factor 1, CFC-2)

Cripto-1 is a signaling protein and member of the epidermal growth factor protein family. It plays an important role during early embryonic development. It has also a role in tumor development, induces cell proliferation, reduces apoptosis and increases cell migration. Cripto-1 is released or shed from expressing cells and may serve as marker gene in the early to mid-progressive stages of a variety carcinomas.\n\nApplications: \nSuitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nELISA: 1:8000\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
