CRYM (Thiomorpholine-carboxylate Dehydrogenase, Mu-crystallin Homolog, NADP-regulated Thyroid-hormone-binding Protein, Ketimine Reductase, THBP)

Specifically catalyzes the reduction of imine bonds in brain substrates that may include cystathionine ketimine (CysK) and lanthionine ketimine (LK). Binds thyroid hormone which is a strong reversible inhibitor. Presumably involved in the regulation of the free intracellular concentration of triiodothyronine and access to its nuclear receptors.\n\nApplications:\nSuitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nImmunohistochemistry (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 3ug/ml\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nAA Sequence:\nEWVKPGAHINAVGASRPDWRELDDELMKEAVLYVDSQEAALKESGDVLLSGAEIFAELGEVIKGVKPAHCEKTTVFKSLGMAVEDTVAAKLIYDSWSSGK\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
