CTRP1 (Complement C1q tumor necrosis factor-related protein 1; C1QTNF1) belongs to a highly conserved family of adiponectin paralogs. Serum levels of CTRP1 are significantly higher in obese/diabetic animal models and in hypertensive patients compared to normal controls. CTRP1 may be a new molecular link between obesity and hypertension.
Sequence:
The globular domain of human CTRP1 (aa 132-281) is fused at the C-terminus to a FLAG(R)-tag.
Storage and Stability:
Short-term Storage: +4 degrees C
Long-term Storage: -20 degrees C
Working aliquots are stable for up to 3 months when stored at -20 degrees C.
