Cyclin B1, Recombinant, Human

Cyclin B1 is a regulatory protein involved in mitosis. It complexes with p34(cdc2) to form the maturation-promoting factor (MPF). Two alternative transcripts have been found for the gene encoding this protein, a constitutively expressed transcript and a cell cycle-regulated transcript, that is expressed predominantly during G2/M phase. The different transcripts result from the use of alternate transcription initiation sites. \n\nFull length Recombinant protein corresponding to aa1-433 (His-tag at N-terminus) expressed in E. coli.\n\nProtein Accession Number: \nNP_114172.1\n\nProtein GI Number: 14327896\n\nApplications: \nSuitable for use in Mass Spectrometry and SDS Gel. Other applications have not been tested. \n\nRecommended Dilutions:\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by researcher.\n\nStorage and Stability:\nFor long-term storage, aliquot and store at -70 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months at -70 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.\n\nImportant note: This recombinant enzyme has NOT been tested with regard to biological activity.
