Cytokeratin 13 belongs to the intermediate filament family of proteins. It is a heterotetramer of two type I and two type II keratins and typically associates with Cytokeratin 4. Cytokeratin 13 is expressed in some epidermal sweat gland ducts and in exocervix, esophagus and placenta. Cytokeratin 13 belongs to the intermediate filament family of proteins. Cytokeratin 13 is expressed in some epidermal sweat gland ducts and in exocervix, esophagus and placenta. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 2-4ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
