Other applications have not been tested. \n\nRecommended Dilutions: \nImmunohistochemistry: 1:10 Suitable for use on frozen tissue, on paraffin-embedded tissues (microwave procedure highly recommended)\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. \n\nStorage and Stability:\n\nLyophilized powder may be stored at -20 degrees C. Reconstitute to nominal volume by adding sterile buffer. Aliquot and store at -20 degrees C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Polypeptide reacting: Mr 40,000 polypeptide (cytokeratin 19) of human glandular epithelia. The epitope has been localized on a.a. 311-335 (QSQLSMKAALEDTLAET EARFGAQL) of the alpha-helical fragment. No reaction with hepatocellular carcinoma. Tumors specifically detected: All tested adenocarcinoma; cholangio ca. of liver; renal cell carcinoma; transitional cell ca. of the bladder; ovary ca.; squamous cell ca. of cervix, bronchus and lung (intermediate type); mesothelioma; carcinoid tumor of bronchus; breast ca.; thymoma.
