Cytokeratin 8

This antibody is useful to determine if a neoplasm originated from a certain type of epithelial source. Cytokeratin 8 exists on several types of normal and neoplastic epithelia , including many ductal and glanular epithelia such as colon, gastric, small intestine, tracheal, esophageal and transitional epithelium. This antibody may be useful for distinction of metastatic malignant tumors of these epithelial origin.\n\nApplications: \nSuitable for use in Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nImmunohistochemistry: Formalin-?xed paraf?n-embedded or frozen tissue sections.
